How can tribological diseases in the joints be prevented?

Professor Dufek:

The symptoms we deal with daily are basically the same as before. Demographic change and advances in cardiology have meant that people are now living longer, so that the patients are 15 to 20 years older than those that were being operated on at the beginning of my medical career. To prevent diseases of the joints it’s important to treat orthopaedic diseases in children and sports injuries promptly. 30 percent of arthrosis diseases are genetically determined. Healthy diet, light sports and avoidance of overweight make up the perfect combination for combating arthrosis.
